Representatives of Rosatom and Victor Koksharov, Rector of the Ural Federal University and Chairman of the Governing Council of the Ural Interregional Research and Education Center, took part in the discussion "Projects of Research and Education Centers as a Basis for Import Substitution and Development of Scientific and Technological Cooperation in Strategy of Regions and the Russian Federation" which took place at the Innoprom-2022 exhibition.

Research and Education Center provides not only integration of higher education, but also academic science and trains in-demand specialists for the nuclear industry. Since 2021, the Ural Interregional Research and Education Center has started training students in separate modules of the Master's Degree Program "Management of Scientific and Technical Projects".
