Master's Students from Kyrgyzstan Presented Their Scientific Achievements to the Experts

A representative delegation from the Kyrgyz Republic came to the Ural Federal University. The delegation included Medetbek Bukuev, the Advisor to the President of the Republic, Ruslan Biybosunov, the General Consul of the Kyrgyz Republic in Ekaterinburg, Kubatbek Abdraimov, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Kyrgyzaltyn” company, Sagynbek Abdrakhmanov, the Director of “BR Gold”, and a number of other well-known politicians and managers of the Republic.

The Ural Federal University administration was represented at the meeting by Sergey Tushin, the Vice Rector of the UrFU International Office, Alexander Ponomarev, the Deputy of Vice Rector and Head of the Department of Youth Outreach, and Yakov Firsov, the Director of the International Students Adaptation Center.

The main event of the first day of the visit was the meeting of the delegation representatives with students from Kyrgyzstan within the framework of the project "Meetings at UrFU". After the report on the work of the community, the floor was given to the Masters students of the Department of Youth Outreach. They presented the results of their scientific work. In particular, they introduced a model of career guidance activities for high school pupils and pointed out the role of NGO in the development of youth entrepreneurship in Kyrgyzstan. Other reports focused on digital technologies in the patriotic education of youth and on the support of talented students in the field of science and technology. All the reports aroused great interest among the representatives of the delegations.

"The reports of the students are very relevant and up-to-date. I have personally discovered many new things. - said Medetbek Bukuyev. - I would like to note the mutual benefits of today's meeting. The UrFU is one of the leading institutions of higher education in Russia, and it is very important that the students from the Kyrgyz Republic successfully study and conduct research here. We maintain close relations and hope to continue this cooperation. Young specialists in mining, metallurgy, energy, medicine and social services are urgently needed in our country. The UrFU has a lot of experience in the training of such specialists and regularly demonstrates it in practice. In return, we are ready to support our students in the form of additional scholarships, assistance with internships, and with employment in our enterprises".
