UrFU Delegation Visits University of Eastern Sarajevo

On May 23, Milan Kulić, Rector of the University of East Sarajevo, met with a delegation from the Ural Federal University. The Ural Federal University was represented by Aleksey Klyuev, Director of the School of Public Administration and Entrepreneurship at the Graduate School of Economics and Management, and Anna Bagirova, Deputy Director for Science and Innovation at the GSEM UrFU.

Representatives of the two universities presented the results of their educational and research activities. They also discussed their plans for international cooperation.

Rector Kulić and his colleagues presented the activities of his university in the field of education, organization of scientific conferences and participation in research projects. He also spoke about student practices and various forms of extracurricular activities.

The sides paid special attention to the interaction of universities in the field of public administration and social sciences. Cooperation was established with the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of East Sarajevo. Cooperation has also been established with the Faculties of Economics in Pale and Brčko.

The participants of the meeting agreed to cooperate in several areas: participation in scientific conferences, publication of articles in scientific journals and collections, and mutual academic exchanges. In addition, they considered the possibility of creating a joint Master's degree program and the participation of scientists in joint research projects.

The universities agreed that there are significant opportunities for cooperation between the two universities today. The participants plan to implement the first planned activities within the next few months.
