On June 2 at the university in the academic building at Lenin 51 was held a meeting between a delegation from Peru and representatives of the university. The meeting was attended by Dmitry Bugrov, Vice Rector and the Head of Chair of the UrFU Department of Social and Cultural Service and Tourism, Sergey Tushin, the Vice Rector for International Relations, Victoria Belyaeva, Head of Department of the Faculty of International Relations, Ekaterina Demchenko, Head of Unit of the Center for International Collaboration, Elizaveta Golousova, Associate Professor of the UrFU Department of International Economics and Management.

Representatives from Peru were Yaringaño Quispe, Founding Vice President of the Peruvian-Russian Chamber of Development, Trade and Industry, Molina Almansa, CADECOMINPERU Chamber of Development, Trade and Industry, and Vice President of the Simón Bolívar State Technological University (IES Simon Bolívar) for International Affairs, and Alvarado Cerro, National Dean of the College for Licensing of Educational Services, Representative of the National Council of Deans of Professional Colleges in Peru.

The parties discussed the possibilities and prospects of international cooperation. Dmitry Bugrov introduced the university to the foreign delegation and told about the ongoing projects. In turn, Dr. O. Yaringanhão gave a greeting from Peru. In addition, the participants of the meeting had an active discussion about the International Festival of University Sports, which will be held very soon, as well as about the 2018 FIFA World Cup. The participants discussed the issues of future cooperation between the Ural Federal University and higher educational institutions in Peru.

The Ural Federal University is always open to new international projects and is ready to cooperate with foreign partners.
