The Russian-Armenian University will become one of the most important partners of the post-Soviet states. The Ural Federal University will be able to offer almost all the disciplines that are available at this university. This was announced today by Victor Koksharov, the rector of the Ural Federal University, at the signing ceremony of the agreement with the Russian-Armenian University.

The rector arrived in Yerevan to participate in the Armenian-Russian Scientific and Educational Forum "Integration of science, education and production: the driving force of economic modernization", the second day of which was held at the RAU. More than 200 leading scientists of Armenia and Russia took part in the forum. The head of UrFU noted the readiness to work in the whole range of directions and educational programs, including joint programs, such as Pharmacy, Iranian Studies, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Mathematics, Basic Medicine, Economics and Management. UrFU is also ready to cooperate in the field of scientific research.

"We have projects that are fully connected with the direction of the Russian-Armenian University and are aimed at ensuring human well-being in the era of digital transformation," Koksharov said.

In turn, Edward Sandoyan, the rector of the Russian-Armenian University, noted that the Ural Federal University is one of the leading universities in Russia in almost all areas of science, including modern specialties related to the use of Artificial Intelligence, Economic Development, Physics and Medicine.

According to Edward Sandoyan, Ekaterinburg, as the geographical center of Eurasia, is and will remain one of the strongest regions in the economic sense.

"The Ural Federal University has a lot of experience, it is 103 years old this year. This university is a very interesting, powerful, and strong partner. We have already signed two cooperation agreements with the UrFU: on the exchange of students and professors, joint scientific research, organization, participation in conferences and forums, etc.," Sandoyan pointed out.
