UrFU has Signed an Agreement with a University in Argentina

Russian Education Week in Argentina Started with the signing of agreements between universities of the two countries. The National University Arturo Jauretche has signed cooperation agreements with the Ural Federal University and the Ufa University of Science and Technology. This was announced on Tuesday by Olga Muratova, the Head of the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in the South American country.

We are very glad that the cooperation in the field of education between Russia and Argentina is successfully developing. We are sure that the signing of two agreements with one of the largest universities of Argentina - National University Arturo Jauretche, which educates about 35 thousand people, will make an important contribution to the popularization of Russian education among Argentinians, and will contribute to cultural and humanitarian exchange between our countries", - she told the journalists.

The agreements provide for joint activities and research, exchange of teachers and students, as well as exchange of educational, scientific and methodological literature, development of double degree programs and other forms of cooperation. During the meeting of the Russian delegation with the rector of the Argentine university Arnaldo Medina they also discussed the possibility of teaching the Russian language, holding exhibitions, concerts and screenings of Russian films at the foreign language center of the university in the province of Buenos Aires, Florence Varela. 

On behalf of the Russian House in Buenos Aires educational, methodological, artistic and reference literature for the study of the Russian language were donated to the Argentine University free of charge.
