According to the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ural Federal University is one of the three most popular universities among Russian applicants. During the first week of the admission campaign in Russia 75 thousand applicants used the online service of the state service "Admission to University Online". This is three times more than in the same period last year.

Prospective students have submitted more than 200 thousand applications in various fields, the most common of which are medicine, law, pediatrics, dentistry and economics.

"The electronic form is the most popular way of submitting documents today," says Yulia Popova, Director of the New Admissions Center of the Ural Federal University. - It can be done through an applicant's personal account on the Ural Federal University website or through the portal of state services. You can also go in person or send the documents by mail. In terms of the number of applications, we are ahead of last year - 2,500 applications (last year it was 2,100), of which 900 were submitted through the state services - 100 more than last year.

We would like to remind you that the acceptance of documents to universities began on June 20. It is possible to apply online to 1,022 universities in the country through the service "State Service". Applicants can apply to five different universities, selecting no more than five fields of study in each. The application deadline for free admission is July 25, and for paid admission it is August 20.

The Ural Federal University offers 9,876 state-funded places for the next academic year. The applicants can apply for five fields of study.
