The vice head of the USA diplomatic mission in the Russian Federation visited UrFU

Sheila Guoltnie met up with the rector and students of еhe Ural Federal University

The visit of Sheila Guoltnie, The vice head of the USA diplomatic mission in the RF, had the introductive character: together with Viktor Koksharov, the UrFU rector, Dmitri Bugrov, the first pro-rector, and Maxim Khomiakov, the pro-rector for the international relations, Ms. Guoltnie discussed the topic of Russian and American universities cooperation and shared her impressions about Yekaterinburg and The UrFU students.

Michael Ranert, the General Council of the USA in Yekaterinburg, also became a guest in The UrFU.

Observing the city places of interest, the vice head was especially impressed by the Temple-on-Blood. Also she made a visit to the B.U. Kashkin museum and took part in the lecture for the URFU students.

The lection titled “Modern status and development perspectives of the American and Russian relations” passed to the fluent of Sh. Guoltnie with the students. The audience consisted not only of the students of The Department for the International relations but also of those who studied political issues, sociology, economics, and journalism.
