The foreign students of the Preparatory Department organized a New Year's party on December 28. A New Year's concert was held at the new campus of the Ural Federal University in Novokoltsovsky. The program included the brilliant performances of the students and teachers of the Preparatory Department.

The event was attended by more than 250 students and alumni of the department. During the event, they got acquainted with the New Year traditions not only in Russia but also in various countries - Angola, China, Ecuador, Cameroon, Hungary, Turkey, and others.

"The participants of the event sang songs, danced, and happily congratulated each other on the coming holidays! It is safe to say that the New Year's Concert will become a tradition for the UrFU Preparatory Department," the university said.

Currently, more than 500 students from over 70 countries are studying in the Preparatory Department. From 2023 the students' education and accommodation will be fully provided in the new UrFU campus.
