Applications are still being accepted for the popular contest "Student Startup", which is organized by the Foundation for Assistance to Innovations within the framework of the federal project "University Technological Entrepreneurship Platform". It is worth noting that UrFU takes an active part in the realization of the platform's areas of work.

Substantial support for 1 million rubles awaits the winners' innovative projects; the grant implementation period is 12 months.

Project topics include digital technologies; resource-saving energy; new materials and chemical technologies; new devices and production technologies; biotechnology; medicine and health; and creative industries.

Youth startups are often stalled by the lack of various support options from universities. Until recently, this was the case.
