The first large-scale Career Guidance Day at the UrFU Preparatory Department for Foreign Students

On April 9, representatives from Ural Federal University institutes met with the Preparatory Department students as part of the 'Future with UrFU' event. The event was held in a new, modern conference hall at the Novokoltsovsky campus. Eleven institutes presented undergraduate and postgraduate programs, and foreign students asked questions about their studies and showed interest in the speakers' presentations.

"Everything went well. The material prepared simplified the process of applying for the program and demonstrated the requirements for admission. We were even informed about the scholarship opportunity, which motivated us greatly", shares the experience of one of the participants of the event.

Elena Elantseva, the Deputy Director of the New Admission Center, provided valuable advice on preparing admission documents for UrFU. The information was translated into Chinese, Arabic, and English to ensure easy comprehension.

In total, the event was attended by more than 250 people.

"The community center is a modern and excellent venue. Bringing the sub-faculty trainees together on this platform was more effective and interesting. The individuals who attended the meeting were interested in enrollment. The dialogue occurred, and the students attempted to speak and understand Russian", comments Lyubov Sergeeva, Deputy Director for Educational Work and Alumni Relations, Senior Lecturer at the Engineering School of Information Technologies, Telecommunications and Control Systems.
