University Library Launches the Master's School Project

On the eve of the Day of Libraries, which the country celebrates every year on May 27, the UrFU Library has prepared a special project for its readers - the Master's School. This is reported in the latest issue of the Ural Federal Newspaper (No. 9, May 20).

Although the name of the project is aimed at Master's students (about 3000 of them enter the university every year), also Bachelor's students, Specialists, Postgraduates, and even lecturers - all those who do research and want to publish their results promptly and competently will find a lot of useful information.

The project includes many small finished texts (lessons), which deal with questions or problems often encountered by authors of academic and scientific papers when searching for resources on a research topic, when bibliographing papers, including articles for foreign journals, and etc.

Each lesson includes commentary by a library professional, numerous examples, and resources for a detailed introduction to the subject. The order in which the lessons are published depends on the requests of the audience; the frequency of publication is free.

Lessons are planned to be placed in the group of the library "Accessible Science" (Доступная наука) in VKontakte, each of them will be accompanied by hashtags, which will help in the future find the necessary information easily.

The library is always available to answer questions from graduate and undergraduate students, and to help resolve, within the limits of its authority, difficult questions about the design of academic and research work or the search for sources. Questions from students are welcome and can be submitted to the Accessible Science group or via the library's virtual help desk.
