UrFU Participated in the China-Russia EXPO

Sergey Kortov, the First Vice-Rector of UrFU, took part in the VIII Round Table on Russian-Chinese Scientific and Technical Cooperation with a report on the progress in the development of new materials and devices for hydrogen energy, and in the opening ceremony of the VIII China-Russia EXPO.

The Ural Federal University was represented at the stand of the Sverdlovsk region and at the stand "Corner of Science" with videos about the university, its new world-class campus and important joint projects of the Ural Federal University with China, in particular the Loyang-Ural University.

Alexander Burnasov, International Affairs Advisor to the Director of the Ural Institute of Humanities of the UrFU, in addition to working at the exhibition stand, held an open lecture for visitors on the topic "Human well-being in the conditions of digital transformation: research projects of the UrFU for partners in China".

The VIII Russian-Chinese EXPO was held in Harbin on May 17-21. More than 2,000 Chinese participants from 190 companies took part in the exhibition, including the largest public and private industrial holdings and medium-sized innovative enterprises.

The President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and the Vice President of the People's Republic of China Han Zheng took part in a tour of the exhibition.
