At the invitation of Associate Professor Svetlana Bykova, Master's students of SCO University and Bachelor's students of the UrFU Department of Foreign Regional Studies from the PRC visited an exhibition dedicated to the organization of gala receptions at the highest level in the 1990s.

The Chinese students were told about the famous Palace of the Facets, where formal lunches and dinners have traditionally been held for several centuries. The exhibition organizers do not hide the fact that the Kremlin menu became more modest compared to the Soviet period due to the a rather difficult economic situation in the 1990s.

Among other documents the programs of 14 visits, menus, texts of solemn speeches of the President of Russia B.N. Yeltsin, and answers of his guests are especially memorable: their content allows one to feel the atmosphere of goodwill and warm relations.
