The Institute of Civil Engineering and Architecture Hosted the International Conference CCACES-2024

The International Conference Current Challenges of Architectural and Civil Engineering Science was held on May 16-17

The conference was organized by the North China University of Water Resources and Electric Power (NCWU), the L.N. Gumilev Eurasian National University, the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after B.N. Yeltsin, the Scientific and Engineering Center "Reliability and Resources of Large Systems and Machines" of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and the Institute of Construction and Architecture. The conference was supported by the Ministry of Construction and Infrastructure of the Sverdlovsk Region, the Association ROOR of the Construction Industry of the Sverdlovsk Region, NP Construction Management "Atomstroycomplex", the Association of Business Development and Educational Institutions (ARBUZ).

Sixty-two papers were presented at the conference, in person and online, by distinguished scientists and graduate and postgraduate students. In addition, 3 sections worked simultaneously: Architecture and Urban Planning; Improvement of Technologies in Construction, Application of Digital Technologies; Issues of Environmental Sustainability, Problems of Resource and Energy Saving and Safety of Infrastructural Facilities and Human Settlements. The conference turned out to be truly international, it was attended by representatives from China (not only Master students from the Chinese-Russian Institute, but also from the North China University of Water Resources and Hydropower), Bolivia, Vietnam, Mongolia, Syria, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Russia. For the best papers, our partners Atomstroycomplex and ARBUZ gave valuable gifts to the participants.

According to the results of the conference will be published a collection of conference proceedings indexed in RSCI, as well as articles will be selected for publication in the scientific peer-reviewed journal "Russian Journal of Construction Sciences and Technologies" indexed in RSCI and a peer-reviewed journal indexed by Scopus.
