More than a Thousand Participants: the Ural Youth Forum Utro Started on Campus

The Utro Youth Forum was launched on the campus of the Ural Federal University. This year more than a thousand young people between the ages of 16 and 35, including working youth, students, and schoolchildren will take part in it. The main theme of the 2024 program is "Professional Urals".

On June 23, the plenary session was held, the educational program began, and a meeting with the governor of the Sverdlovsk region Yevgeny Kuyvashev was held.

"I am very happy to see everyone in Ekaterinburg, on the world-class campus of the Ural Federal University. We have done everything to make the Forum participants feel at home here. I am sure that all the days you will spend here will be of maximum benefit to each of you. You will get a lot of interesting and important information for each of you, a lot of communication and, of course, friends", said Yevgeny Kuyvashev.

The guests of the opening ceremony of the Forum were treated to a colorful space-themed performance. For an hour and a half, participants watched rockets take off, astronauts float in weightlessness, and space creatures walk around the hall.

"We have put a lot of effort and energy into welcoming you here and being happy that you are here. Every time we see the happy faces of the participants of the delegations, we ourselves shine with happiness. During the week you will learn about the history of the Urals, its contribution to the history of Russia, its achievements. We are very grateful to the delegations of the regions who have prepared a rich program", emphasized Oybek Partov, Program Director of the Forum.

The day ended with a concert by SHAMAN.

Dozens of presentations, meetings with opinion leaders from different regions, and a rich cultural program: karaoke, master classes on customization, sports games, movie screenings.

The Utro Forum will be held in Ekaterinburg from June 22 to 28. It will be attended by more than a thousand people from 44 regions of Russia. Each subject of the Urals Federal District has prepared its part of the program on the following topics: information and digital technologies, metallurgy, industry, agriculture and ecology, oil and gas industry. During the forum, the participants will have the opportunity to talk to governors and top experts, take part in master classes, and receive grants for their projects from 5 to 500 thousand rubles.

The Forum is organized by the Office of the Plenipotentiary Envoy of the President of the Russian Federation to the Ural Federal District, the Government of the Sverdlovsk Region, Rosmolodezh, and the Ural Federal University.

The network of modern university campuses is being created by order of Russian President Vladimir Putin as part of the national "Science and Universities" project.
