More than six hundred international students will study at UrFU

University becomes truly international. The enrollment of foreign students increased considerably

343 international students (the number of September 4) have been already enrolled for first course, 40 of them are from far abroad."By increasing the admission of foreigners, we are truly becoming an international university, - said UrFU rector Victor Koksharov. – The admission campaign of foreign students from 43 countries will last until December 31 and we will reach a figure of 620 people."Thus, this year the share of foreign students will be 3% of the total number of students. About 100 foreign teachers, including scientists from around the world, will give lectures to UrFU students.We would like to remind that UrFU is among universities, which participate in a government program "5-100-2020". The aim of this program is to enhance global competitiveness of Russian universities.
