The experience of the leading universities of South Korea will be brought to UrFU

The Chairman of the Student Union went to Seoul in order to participate in the international forum

Aslan Kagiev, the Chairman of the Student Union of Ural Federal University will learn more about youth policy, establishment endowment funds of South Korean universities. He is a member of the Russian delegation at the youth forum “Dialogue Russia - Republic of Korea”, which will take place in Seoul this week.

"Cooperation between our countries in the sphere of youth policy has long been possible, - says Aslan Kagiev. – It is interesting how Korean students assist in raising funds for the development of the universities, participate in the activity of the Alumni Association and implement key initiatives". 

"Dialogue Russia - Republic of Korea" is an open forum of civil societies of the two countries, which covers topical issues in Russian-South Korean relations.

Its main task is to establish constructive dialogue between the representatives of all spheres of public life in Russia and Korea, which allows to create a solid foundation for cooperation that does not depend on the current political situation. Forum aims to support cooperation between the two countries and contribute to closer contacts in the spheres of society, government, industry and science.

The rector of UrFU will also visit Korea this month. On November 30, Victor Koksharov, will participate in the Rectors’ Forum.
