From business games to pitching: 1300 of students participated in the annual “Innofest” festival

The participants completed business training, attended workshops and participated in the Auction of ideas

For 4 days the participants of the Festival of innovations “Innofest” were developing their entrepreneurial, communicational and creative skills in the workshops, business trainings and business games. More than 1300 participants visited this Forum.

“The founder of Smart-food Danil Simonov, business coach Ksenia Akusheva, the head of “Shulgin and partners” Vitaliy Shulgin and the owner of “DVS Gazel”, specialist in YouTube and Instagram marketing Maksim Bolnykh spoke in front of the students”, noted organizers of the event.

The workshop “Protection of intellectual property of the project” was useful for the students working on technical projects; business training in networking helped students already having some business ideas to exchange contacts with entrepreneurs for future cooperation. Also, the event included some business cases where the participants could plunge into the made-up marketing conditions, experience all difficulties of the fight with business rivals and try to partner with the investors and governmental institutions supporting small and middle businesses.

The final part of the event was the Auction of ideas “Golos”. It was a logical continuation of the training aimed at creating ideas, where the students worked on finding solutions for current global problems. In the format of pitch-sessions they presented their technological and entrepreneurial projects in front of the investors, entrepreneurs, and representatives of the big corporations.

As a result of “Innofest”, 30 student project teams were formed and selected. They will take part in the educational program “Commercialization of innovative products and services” (“Innovational diving”). In November the program will be held in a form of business-modelling school, where participants will work with experienced mentors, analyze markets and counterparts, create business-model and present their project in front of the investors.
