Innovative Products of the University will get Further Development in China and New Zealand

The university will continue developing its competences in collaboration with The University of Auckland in Hangzhou Special Economic Zone

Last week, the delegation of Ural Federal University and Yeltsin Center visited the UOAIIC conference, which was held in the Chinese city of Hangzhou. The conference was organized by the University of Auckland from New Zealand.

‘This is already our second visit that is dedicated to cooperation with the University of Auckland,’ says Deputy First Vice-Rector of UrFU. ‘Ural Federal University is interested in attracting Chinese investments for the commercialization of the developments. Hangzhou Special Economic Zone in China is an excellent platform for the realization of these goals. There are many investors here who are ready to invest in perspective projects and research.’

It is planned to organize work on the commercialization of UrFU projects in partnership with The University of Auckland and its Office of Technology Transfer. The University is ready to offer foreign investors competence in the field of new materials, processing of metals, as well as ample opportunities of the University's Chemical Center.

In February 2018, the delegation of the Sverdlovsk region will visit Hangzhou, it is planned to fulfill many preliminary agreements with potential partners on specific projects and agreements during this visit.
