UrFU Student Won the National Digital Championship

Andrey Vasiliev programmed the robot faster than this opponents and made the program cost-beneficial

The fourth-year student of UrFU Institute of New Materials and Technologies Andrey Vasiliev took the first place in the first national championship in the sphere of information technologies DigitalSkills in Innopolis. Among the hundreds of contestants, Andrey Vasiliev scored the highest score - more than 80 points.

"We were tasked to program the robot faster than everyone else and make this program cost- beneficial. We programed the robots Fanuc. The work lasted three days," said the winner of the nomination "Organization of Effective Production"Andrei Vasiliev.

The young engineer from UrFU Andrey Samsonov took the second place in the same nomination.

The DigitalSkills Championship attracted IT specialists, university and college students, freelancers from more than 15 regions of the country: Moscow and Moscow region, St. Petersburg, Tatarstan, Novgorod, Nizhny Novgorod, Voronezh, Sverdlovsk, Smolensk, Ulyanovsk, Chelyabinsk, Tomsk, Kostroma regions.
