The Ural Federal University held a youth IT conference "Career in the Metaverse". Students got acquainted with the current vacancies and prospects of market development with the introduction of XR-technologies.

More than 450 students attended the event, and 100 people participated in the 24-hour hackathon. More than 340 students joined the lectures and master classes online, with a total of 1,780 views.

"Career in the Metaverse is 9.5 hours of new knowledge, public talk, IT lectures, two streams of master classes on four thematic tracks, and 15 experts, including employees of the university and representatives of partner companies (Tinkoff, Sber, Ural Center for Security Systems, UDV, Sinara Bank, ArtSofte)," noted the organizers.

In addition to participation in the educational program, guests tried on VR-glasses, took pictures with the symbols of the conference and received branded paraphernalia and gifts from partner companies.
